Project Manager

Are you passionate about technical project management? ODI is looking for a project manager to oversee critical projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects, ensuring project deliverables, managing resources, and overseeing communication with stakeholders, the team, executive management, and control agencies.

Location: This position provides telework opportunities in accordance with agency telework policies. ODI is currently operating in a hybrid work environment with staff reporting to the office 2 days a week to either Sacramento HQ or our Oakland Hub.

Annual salary: $97,560 – $134,652 based on experience and qualifications

What you’ll do

  • Assist with development of ODI’s project governance framework
  • Oversee and manage scope, resources, and schedules for all aspects related to assigned projects
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate project activities with internal and/or external stakeholders, oversight agencies, and vendor teams
  • Participate in and oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives and short- and long-range plans; develops tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives
  • Manage the working relationships and collaboration between project leadership, agency, department directorate, business partners, and stakeholders

  • Experience creating communication plans and processes
  • Experience defining project responsibilities with stakeholders
  • Experience maintaining project time frames, budget estimates, and status reports
  • Experience ensuring all activities are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes
  • Experience developing plans to mitigate risks
  • Experience working successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties
  • Ability to participate in project budget and staff allocation
  • Ability to work as part of the Project Team, development of scope and schedule for project work
  • Ability to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project process
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all key performance indicators
  • Demonstrated ability to fully understand the life cycle of the project
